Wordstock professional development day has been cancelled
Wordstock, the annual full-day professional development session for journalists and freelancers held for the past 15 years at Ryerson University, has been cancelled, according to a post on the Toronto Freelance Editors and Writers listserv.

Magazines Canada releases new batch of "hot sheet" information for indy publishers
Magazines Canada has released a new batch of "hotsheets" -- freely available, one-and two-page professional development documents that address a single topic, written by an expert in the field. MagNet conference moving to better venue in Toronto for 2011 event
MagNet, the annual industry conference, is changing venues in 2011. It will be held June 7 to 10 at the Courtyard Marriott, also in Toronto.
