Departing Masthead editor says Maclean's has become Canada's most interesting magazine
In what is essentially his swan song as editor of Mastheadonline (he leaves his post on Friday 4th to go to teacher's college), Marco Ursi has written a hymn of praise to Maclean's magazine and its publisher/editor Ken Whyte. His occasional "From the Editor's Desk" column says Maclean's has become Canada's most interesting magazine and points out that Whyte-driven covers have built up weekly
RDA sold its World Almanac division
In one of the things it tidied up just before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week, Reader's Digest Association sold its World Almanac and Book of Facts to New York-based Infobase Publishing. Border Crossings magazine launches new size, new face
Border Crossings magazine has launched its September issue with a new, larger format and a new typeface . The Winnipeg-based magazine has increased in size to 9 x 11.75", with the larger size allowing even more latitude for the visuals that the arts magazine is well-known for.
