Even though it was published before the British election, the most prescient take on events as they unfolded was apparently by satirical magazine Private Eye. According to a posting by Jon Slattery on his blog, the cover idea was inspired by former Private Eye editor Richard Ingrams. Private Eye for a generation has been what Frank hoped to be in Canada, but never was.
