It's somehow fitting that it is Magazines Week in Toronto and a memorial to the late Cynthia Brouse has been planted on the Toronto waterfront. Cynthia was a highly regarded and beloved teacher and the doyenne of fact-checkers, former managing editor of Saturday Night magazine and a National Magazine Awards gold medal winner.
